Meet Dr.Mel
Melanie Mackey is the founder and owner of Luxe Glow Aesthetics and Wellness. She began her career in healthcare nearly 2 decades ago working as a patient care technician on the Mother-Infant Unit while going to school to become a Registered Nurse. Melanie is the first triple graduate from Mount Carmel College of Nursing, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2008, her Master’s of Science (MS) in 2013, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2019.
As a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Melanie has over a decade of experience in Retail Health, Urology (specializing in Men's Health) and Aesthetics. Melanie has a passion for aesthetics and wellness and believes in taking a “natural approach” to enhance your natural beauty. She wants her patients to feel and look beautiful from the inside out. She has skills in injectables and dermal fillers, and has been certified through the National Laser Institute, American Medical Training and Evolus to name a few.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Aaron, their boys, working out, and binge watching the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders on CMT and movies on Lifetime.
